Prvi veliki zadatak koji smo dobili u sklopu programa CIMAJ trebao je biti humanitarnog karaktera pa su se učenici i profesori Srednje škole Braća Radić odlučili organizirati humanitarnu akciju.
S obzirom da se u našoj školi obrazuju budući veterinarski tehničari, odlučili smo organizirati akciju kojom bismo pomogli No kill skloništu za napuštene životinje Animalis Centrum. Navedeno sklonište nalazi se u Kaštel Sućurcu i brine o napuštenim životinjama, a naši ga učenici svaki tjedan posjećuju, pomažu i druže se sa životinjama – šetaju ih, kupaju, igraju se s njima ili ih jednostavno maze.
Odlučeno je da će se humanitarna akcija Šapa dobrote održavati svaku subotu tijekom prosinca u Đardinu u Kaštel Novome nakon paljenja adventske svijeće na velikom adventskom vijencu koji su izradili, baš kao i svake godine, učenici Srednje škole Braća Radić.
Tijekom akcije prodavali smo adventske vijence, ukrasne vijence, božićne kuglice, suhe kolače, džemove, umake, ušećerene bademe, arancine, sukulente – sve ono što učenici sa svojim profesorima proizvedu na praktičnoj nastavi.
Humanitarna akcija Šapa dobrote bila je izuzetno uspješna, a naši su sugrađani pokazali veliko srce i svojim odazivom osigurali kaštelanskim šapicama toplu i ugodnu zimu!
